Oncology and Chemotherapy
Veterinary oncology is a specialized field of veterinary medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer in animals. Just like in human medicine, cancer is a significant health concern for companion animals, affecting a variety of species including dogs and cats.
Our team can work collaboratively with your primary care veterinarian to provide comprehensive care if your pet is diagnosed with cancer. This includes performing diagnostics, such as imaging and biopsies, and developing tailored treatment plans that may involve surgery, chemotherapy, or a combination of these modalities.
The goal of veterinary oncology is to improve your pet's quality of life if they are affected by cancer and, when possible, to achieve remission or control the progression of the disease.
We operate on a referral-only basis. Please inquire for more information.
